CADEKA Debuts High-Speed COMLINEAR Amplifiers

CADEKA has introduced seven new current feedback (CFB) and voltage feedback (VFB) high-speed amplifiers. They are stated to break the price-performance curve.

The newly released amplifiers are asserted to enhance signal stability and increases signal fidelity in high-definition, professional, and broadcast video applications with their large signal 0.1dB gain flatness (> 100MHz with VOUT=2Vpp).

CADEKA Microcircuits is a supplier of high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products for customers who require cost-effective performance.

The amplifiers are in the bandwidth range from 500 MHz to 1.5 GHz. The CLC1606 amplifier is with 1.2 GHz bandwidth, CLC1605 and CLC3605 amplifiers are with 1.5 GHz bandwidth, CLC1004, CLC1014 and CLC3004 amplifiers are with 750 MHz bandwidth and the CLC1006 is with 500MHz bandwidth.

"These seven amplifiers are examples of our strong commitment to providing cost effective, amplifier solutions for high-end video and instrumentation applications," explains Gary Ross, CADEKA’s chief executive officer. "With three products above 1GHz that are priced below $1 per channel, CADEKA is well positioned at becoming the price-performance leader."

According to the company, the amplifiers combine high-speed, large output current, and excellent bandwidth flatness that makes them more suitable for high-speed applications, including high-definition video switching and distribution.

The CLC3605 offers a disable feature to save power and allow for multiplexing applications. The CLC1606 is for applications that require extreme gain flatness. The CLC1606 also features 3,300V/µs slew rate and fast rise/fall times (0.5ns) for ultimate performance in pulse amplifying and instrumentation applications. Active filter applications, driving data converters, and instrumentation applications will also benefit from the high-slew rate and wide bandwidth flatness of these CFB amplifiers.

CFB and VFB amplifiers have comparable performance, but there are certain unique advantages associated with each topology. In general, VFB amplifiers offer lower noise, better DC performance and feedback freedom. CFB amplifiers also tend to offer faster slew rates, lower distortion and feedback restrictions.

All products are available in Pb-free, RoHS compliant packages. Budgetary 1,000 piece pricing: CLC1004/CLC1014 - $0.40, CLC1006 - $0.38, CLC1605/CLC1606 - $0.63, CLC3004 - $1.35 and CLC3605 - $1.77. For more info visit www.cadeka.com
