InfoLogix Deploys Advanced Mobile Training Solution for DS Waters of America
InfoLogix has stated that they have deployed an advanced mobile training solution for DS Waters of America Inc that will help them automate fleet logistics.
DS Waters is a U.S. operated bottled water company with a long history of great American brands. InfoLogix is a provider of enterprise mobility and advanced wireless asset tracking solutions for the healthcare and commercial industries.
The company is the producer and distributor of home, office, and retail bottled water products across the United States under such brand names as Alhambra, Belmont Springs, and Crystal Springs. They employ more than 2000 delivery trucks that distribute their bottled water to more than 1 million consumers across the US. They also employ delivery specialists; known as Route Sales Representatives (RSRs), committed to making certain that the delivery is hassle-free and focused on the customer.
In order to help their RSRs minimize and streamline their workflows, DS Waters sought to use Intermec’s CN3 handsets; A PDA for mobile sales or field service force, and for regional managers of those routes. With it, the route driver can carry their customer data, catalog information, cell phone, calendar and email in one small package. But DS Waters soon realized that making their RSRs familiar with this mobile technology is highly difficult as they are both geographically dispersed and are vast in numbers.
"InfoLogix's mobile training solution enabled us to easily provide consistent instructional quality and content to our Route Sales Reps across the US," said Dennis Flynn, director of HOD Systems at DS Waters. "We trained all of our RSRs in an incredibly cost-effective manner, plus we've been able to minimize any potential overtime costs we might have otherwise incurred."
InfoLogix claims that their deployed mobile solutions are designed to provide clients with the first step in their mobile enterprise, ready to allow them to track assets, chart information more accurately, keep information accessible and increase overall operational efficiency. They can offer operational visibility for improved safety and security and also enhanced service levels and on-time performance.
