UK's Crafty Arts Selects DediPower for Managed Hosting Services

Crafty Arts, an eCommerce arts and crafts retailer has chosen DediPower, one of the United Kingdom’s managed hosting providers, to deliver managed hosting services, the companies said today.

Under the deal, DediPower will host the Crafty Arts eCommerce Web site.

Crafty Arts experienced more than 500 percent growth in 2007, according to the company, and is expecting similar levels this year. With the continued growth of their eCommerce go-to-market strategy, Crafty Arts officials say they needed to right size their IT requirements into a scalable managed hosting solution.

The retailer said it expected the solution to provide them with the right level of expertise to help drive their business forward through technical support services, and high levels of security for online transactions. Crafty Arts also wanted the solution to support the rapid expansion of their on-line business, according to the company.

Jay Necati, Web manager of Crafty Arts, said that the company needed a hosting company scaled to meet their business growth objectives in a secure environment to protect their customers in their eCommerce transactions. Necati said he found that DediPower offered the right level of support, growth and protection for their business now and in the future.

Craig Martin, chief executive officer of DediPower, said that a large number of retailers are turning to the internet to grow their business.

“At DediPower it is exciting to work with companies like Crafty Arts to reach a broader customer base and to help empower new business models,” Martin said.
